keep up the pace and keep working overnight. the folks need relief. they need the help. well, a plane working the front lines of one of the huge wildfires in the west has crashed. an air force c-130 hercules plane dropping fire retardant disappeared from radar sunday night. officials say it went down near the white draw fire in south dakota and a helicopter did manage to land near the crash site and taking three people to the hospital. thousands of homeowners are now being allowed back into their fire-ravaged neighborhood in colorado. residents say they cannot believe what was burned and what was left untouched. clayton sandell reports from colorado springs. reporter: colorado s most destructive wildfire ever is slowly being tamed. we are at 45% containment. reporter: a week of punishing firestorms destroyed nearly 350 homes, killing two people. for the first time residents like shawna houghe. this is my street. reporter: saw the aftermath
