Douglas County ahead of state COVID-19 vaccine rate
As of March 13 data provided by the Minnesota Department of Health, 10,155 people – 27.1% of the counties population (37,513) – have received at least one vaccine dose with 6,556 – 17.5% – completing their vaccine series. As of Monday, March 15, the county’s vaccination rate is better than the states. Statewide, 22.7% have received at least one dose and 13% have completed their series, whereas in Douglas County, 27.1% have received at least one dose and 17.5% have completed their vaccine series. according to the Minnesota Department of Health.
