Rice in in edgewater. Police discovered the bodies in the couples bedroom in their bed. Authorities believe the man shot and killed his wife and daughter possibly while they were sleeping. He used a towel or blanket infront of the gun to muffle the sound of the bullets. Officers were called just after 7 00 last night by a relative. He was concerned the family had not shown up for christmas at their missouri home. We believe the shootings took place while both were actually lying in the bed.
