Drinkwater, Berry lead Panther Creek past rival Green Hope on senior night

Cary, N.C. Panther Creek defeated its top rival Green Hope by a score of 72-48. This was the first loss of Green Hope s season. The Catamounts domination of the Falcons coincided with Panther Creek s senior night. Panther Creek honored seniors Daylen Berry, Dylan Drinkwater, Miles Tucker, Jaden Snell, and John Jackson. Holding senior nights as early as possible is a common strategy we re seeing schools use in a season with so much uncertainty.
The Catamounts started the game strongly. Panther Creek got out to a 23-9 lead by the time there was only 90 seconds left in the first quarter. Green Hope called a timeout. The Falcons played well out of the timeout and managed to cut the Panther Creek lead to 24-17 by the end of the first.
