“We are all finding ways to adapt and reimagine the ways that we’re living after dealing with a huge amount of change in our lives,” said event Director Kelly Galvin. “We wanted to show through our performances what these new rhythms of our lives look like in an artistic way."
“We know that nurses and health-care workers are essential workers. But despite that rhetoric, they are not treated by management with respect, dignity, workplace safety, and adequate wages that essential workers deserve," said Ian Rhodewalt, a field organizer for the Western Massachusetts Area Labor Federation.
Several candidates were present at a candidates forum on Tuesday, April 25 at the Claire Teague Senior Center to advocate for themselves before the Great Barrington town elections are held on Tuesday, May 9.
After a three-year closure, the historic Dream Away Lodge in Becket reopened on Saturday, April 22, with hundreds of customers in attendance after eagerly lining up outside.
