BAHAWALPUR: a 20-year-old youth drowned in Shashmahi Canal near Pull Baghuchi while taking bath in the canal.According to Rescue-1122 staffers, the body of the deceased was recovered after 16-hour search operation.
WOMAN RAPED: A woman was raped in the limits of Sadr Haroonabad police on Monday. According to police, two accused had been raping a woman, who was divorced, and impregnated her. They threatened her of dire consequences if she spoke about them to anybody. Sadr Haroonabad police booked accused Nadeem and Ijaz Wattoo who had been raping her on separate occasions in Chak-2/1-R.
