On May 31, Shekhar Bagade registered a molestation case against Nandu Joshi, accusing him of threatening and demanding sexual favors from a police officer's wife.
Reports suggest that Shekhar Bagade, the senior police inspector of Manpada police station, was forced to take leave on Friday following the case registration against Nandu Joshi.
The police registered a case against Joshi under sections 354 A (sexual harassment), 506 (punishment for criminal intimidation) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
