A group of Elliot Lake business operators is planning to reactivate the Elliot Lake Chamber of Commerce. On May 18 and 20, a number of local business operators participated in two virtual meetings looking into restarting the Elliot Lake Chamber of Commerce, with many of them expressing interest in joining the organization. The meeting was chaired by acting president of the chamber Tom Turner. He was joined by a number of speakers including: Mike Tasse – manager of the Royal Bank in Elliot Lake; Sharon Worsley – of the Ontario Chamber of Commerce, and Garnet Young – president of the Blind River Chamber of Commerce as well as Young’s Autobody in Algoma Mills.
