Four days after ruling that court hearings for several people accused of paying for sex in a commercial sex ring would be public, Supreme Judicial Court Frank Gaziano has again halted those hearings.
Three people at the center of a commercial sex ring catering to prominent clientele at “sophisticated high-end brothels” in Massachusetts and Virginia have been indicted by a federal grand jury, the U.S. Attorney said Friday.
New filings were among those submitted to the state’s highest court ahead of a deadline Wednesday afternoon. Justice Frank M. Gaziano of the Supreme Judicial Court will decide whether initial court hearings should be open and what documents should be public.
