president obama traveling to michigan this morning to promote jobs in the energy sector attending that ground breaking for a planted that will manufacture batteries for electric cars. the plan to start construction as a result for battery and electric vehicles. investing electric vehicles has been a part of obama s message on the economy. last week, he visited an electric car factory there in kansas city, missouri, that received stimulus funds. yesterday, the white house said a year and a half into the stimulus, it is on track to save or create 3 1/2 million jobs as they promised. the white house says businesses are expanding and being created as a result of tough votes taken on the recovery act. gonna construct these plants in america, gonna build these plants in america and employ americans. that s a strong economic record. but the u.s. chamber of commerce has been challenging the president on job creation during a conference here this week. the chamber c.e.o. critici
