some national guard forces. shannon? peter, thank you very much. the republican governors are the ones who seem to be stealing the spotlight this weekend. with big names and big personalities, which of the current gop governors may make a run for the white house and who would be successful? fox news digital politics editor chris stinewall is joining us to break this down. there are a lot of names out there, we ll start with chris christie. because either people love him and say he s going to be great, he ll appeal to independents is fantastic, or bridge gate has done him in. it s too soon to say. christie has dealt with the scandal so far, but as i like to say, he s put himself in the shark cage of truth, either everything he says is true and a year from now we ll say he got through it pretty well or he s taking a pretty big risk. and there it s one hole, he ll get eaten alive. so we are waiting to see. so far so good for him. other names out there, we ll talk about rick perry
jerry decides he needs to live it to the fullest. as vice president at a large bank, he works long hours, nights, weekends and hasn t ever really taken a vacation. when he sees an ad in the paper for a trip to south africa, he makes a spontaneous decision and packs his bags. i was going to pull out all the stops, the piece de resistance was this cage shark diving. a couple months after seeing the ad in the paper, he finds himself in a diving capitol of the world. 30 miles outside of capetown at the southern most tip of south africa staring at a shark cage. you re shaking your head, looking at it, thinking, wow, that thing is so small. if one of these sharks wanted to get into it, there was no stopping it. and as jerry sizes up the shark cage, he notices an even bigger concern. i kind of remembered noting
diana nyad just a couple weeks ago, how can we forget the 64 yelled-year-old made history swi swimming from cuba to key west without a shark cage. this week she was chasing life again swimming 48 hours in a specially built pool in new york city to raise money for victims of super stormsandy. every 15 minutes a new swimmer hopped in with nyad including ryan lochte. 48 hours straight, i know i couldn t do that. what she s doing right now is amazing. she was also joined by victims of the storm like alisa zeboinske whose family lost eight houses in that storm. i m very grateful she s doing this for us. it was absolutely incredible to even be in the same pool as someone that accomplished so much. she raised more than $100,000 for the organization helping the
