Longtime Girl Scouts of Hawaii CEO Shari Chang has resigned following the completion of the Girl Scout STEM Center for Excellence at Camp Paumalu on the North Shore of Oahu.

It’s part of her nearly $85 million gift to the Girls Scouts of the USA. Hawaiʻi is one of the smallest councils in the country and one of 29 local councils chosen.

An excellent new summary of what’s going on with “faith” in the NT by Nijay Gupta: Mark Twain once said, wryly, “Faith is believin’ what you know ain’t so.” Many Christians, including myself, would have much to disagree with in Twain’s description, but one thing he got right about virtually all modern readers of the English Bible they assume that “faith” is about “beliefs.” Now, there must be some connection between “faith” and “belief” hence the historical Christians creeds begin with credo, “I believe in.” But is there more to faith than belief?
