SEBI's this order came after it initiated adjudication proceedings against Dutta, Gupta and Arora while dealing in the shares of PVR allegedly in violation of Prohibition of Insider Trading (PIT) rules from April 2014 to March 2017.
Shares of PVR gained as much as 4.06 per cent or Rs 74.45 to trade at Rs 1,908.60. During intra-day trades, the shares hit a high of Rs 1,926.20. Inox Leisure saw its shares surge more than 4.5 per cent or Rs 22.55 to trade at Rs 516.95.
Shares of PVR Ltd gained nearly 5 per cent today after the multiplex operator reported a profit of Rs 68 crore in Q1 against a loss of Rs 142 crore in the corresponding quarter of previous fiscal. The company said Q1 was the best one in PVR's history in terms of highest quarterly revenue, EBITDA and PAT.
Shares of multiplex chain operator PVR rose over 4 per cent today after the firm reported narrowing of its consolidated loss for the quarter ended March 2022. PVR stock touched an intraday high of Rs 1,785.2, rising 4.71 per cent against the previous close of Rs 1704.95 on BSE.
Shares of PVR are trading higher than 50 day, 100 day and 200 day moving averages but lower than 5 day and 20 day moving averages.
