The Cube, a daring new piece of meta-theater inside the Latino Cultural Center, wonders why human beings need to examine their existence and long for connection to other people, unlike other members of the animal kingdom.

Dallas, TX – December 18, 2020 - Dallas Black Dance Theatre (DBDT) is completing its 44th season with all virtual performances. In January 2021, the company will continue to capture the dance and choreography on video in natural outdoor environments across Dallas. Additionally, the dance company has decided to make virtual performances a part of its offering, even after it goes back to performing live in venues. Through its virtual performances, Dallas Black Dance Theatre has reached new audiences across the country and worldwide, including Australia, England, and Norway.

The Park City Institute is cautiously optimistic that live performances will return to town in the spring.
During a Zoom conference Wednesday night, Park City Institute Executive Director Ari Ioannides unveiled the performing-arts nonprofit’s new season that is slated to start in April and includes Grammy-winning country singer Gretchen Wilson, New York Times Critics’ Choice Award-winning Complexions Dance, a collaboration with Park City Film and the return of swing-revival giant Big Bad Voodoo Daddy.
Sibling rockers Jocelyn and Chris Arndt are scheduled to perform on July 17 at the Eccles Center for the Performing Arts.
