J&K Bank CMD hands over compensation cheques to kin of deceased ATM guard

JAMMU, May 7: J&K Bank Chairman and Managing Director, R K Chhibber today handed over cheques amounting Rs 20 lakh to the kin of the ATM Guard Raju Sharma who was killed while performing his duties.
The compensation of Rs 20 lakh was contributed by the employees of J&K Bank as a mark of camaraderie, support and consolation with the bereaved family.
“J&K Bank is a closely knit large family where everyone is emotionally connected to each other. Here everyone takes pride in sharing the joys and sorrows of each other. I thank the employees of our organization for coming forward and contributing to this cause wholeheartedly,” said the visibly emotive CMD.

JAMMU, Apr 15: In yet another tie-up to synergize relationship between Jammu and Kashmir Bank and different Government departments, the Bank today entered into an agreement with Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) here, according to which the latter has nominated the Bank as a preferred Banker.
Commissioner JMC Avny Lavasa signed the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on behalf of JMC whereas Zonal Head Jammu Central I Shareesh Sharma put in his signatures representing the Bank in presence of Joint Commissioner JMC Sudhir Bali, CAO JMC Dheeraj Jandyal, Business Unit Head Town Hall Jammu Sudershan Kumar and Head Digital Initiatives J&K Bank Atul Sethi.

JAMMU, Mar 15: Jammu and Kashmir Bank President and Chief Technology Officer (CTO) Sunit Kumar today inaugurated the newly established Technology Training Centre (TTC) at Gole Gujral here.
The TTC is meant for imparting training to the bank’s staff to upskill them with the latest technological interventions and innovations in banking industry.
Zonal Head Jammu Central Shareesh Sharma and Vice-President Vibhakar Khajuria also attended the inaugural function along with cluster heads of the zone besides various officers of the bank.
The event also marked the first training programme regarding the upgraded software, the bank is in the process of switching over to, in near future.
