He took to Twitter to inform Pawar s followers that the 80-year-old had an ulcer in his mouth which was removed by the doctors.
Malik also said that Pawar is taking stock of the COVID-19 situation in the state from the hospital itself and will be back in action soon. Post Gall Bladder surgery of our president Sharad Pawar saheb, a follow up visit and check up at hospital revealed an ulcer in his mouth which has been removed. He is well and resting in hospital. Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], April 21 (ANI): Maharashtra Minister Nawab Malik on Wednesday informed that a postoperative procedure has been performed on Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) chief Sharad Pawar and now he is recuperating at the hospital. Our party chief Sharad Pawar was admitted at Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai last evening for a follow-up procedure post his Gall Bladder surgery. The procedure has been conducted and he is now recuperating in the hospital, tweeted Nawab Malik.
Pawar had undergone laparoscopic surgery on his gall bladder at the hospital on April 12 and was discharged from the hospital on April 15.

A successful Laparoscopy surgery was conducted today on our party President Sharad Pawar Saheb s Gall Bladder by Dr. Balsara. He is in stable health and is recuperating in his room at the Breach Candy Hospital, Mumbai, tweeted Nawab Malik.
The NCP president was recently discharged from the hospital after the doctors successfully removed a stone from his gallbladder.
