Michael Brown, the High River District Health Care Foundation’s executive director, is retiring after 12 years with the foundation.
Brown joined the foundation in February 2009 and has helped guide the organization as it invested almost $6.5 million into local healthcare in High River, Nanton and the Foothills area.

“I feel honoured to have been part of helping all our donors and supporters realize their dreams.” Brown said. “The foundation acts as a facilitator for our local community,” he explained, “so it is humbling to look back and realize that so many people entrusted us to invest their donations wisely on impactful equipment, programs and infrastructure.”
