we need to be in the business of prevention. stopping this. not law enforcement, not prosecution, stopping these types of events. shannon: congressman reyes, i will give you the final word on how the administration is doing. i don t disagree. i think the solution is to continue to work together. i don t think that politicizing national security in any way is an answer because the consequences as peter just said are very real. whether you go back and look at richard reid or any of the other cases that we have for one reason for another been able to stop, bottom line is we need to work together, we need to have a strategy, we need to continue to learn and eliminate as we go the issues that come up as these cases are brought to the forefront. so we have got a lot of work to do. it is a very serious issue and i just hope we can continue to work together on this.
