âItâs no secret that our community is plagued with one of the highest suicide rates in the country. We need to do all we can to change that. The emotional well-being of our community needs to be a priority. We truly believe if we can start at the foundation with our kids, it will make a huge impact for the rest of their lives,â said Clay Tufly, Mesa County Alpine Bank regional president.
Educators can apply for grants in four categories: Professional learning opportunities, curriculum/instructional resources for the classroom, items for creating supportive classrooms, and opportunities for students.
