Boutique fitness chain coming to Alabama

A Florida-based boutique fitness center is opening its first Alabama location in Birmingham.
Amped Fitness will be taking over the former Gold’s Gym, a 30,000-square-foot space, at The Shops of the Colonnade on Colonnade Parkway
Shannon Waltchack brokers Tyler Bradford and Keith Shamblin represented the landlord in the lease.
“Amped Fitness has a competitive lineup of top-notch services at an affordable membership level, which will be a great fit for the Colonnade and the Birmingham market,” Amped Fitness CEO Travis Labazzo said in a statement.
Amped Fitness offers group classes, personal training, tanning and free childcare with membership starting at $9.99 per month. Birmingham memberships on sale now with $0 down.
