In the letter, Finning cited issues with School Committee Chairman Jim Muse as the reason she was no longer willing to serve on the board. “I am unwilling to serve a body that continues to select a chair who has treated me, personally, with disrespect and, of more concern, has, in my opinion, demonstrated unwillingness to hear from all constituents and effectively engage and communicate with parents and families in particular,” she said in the letter.
