That they did investigate with a Hurricane Hunter aircraft earlier today and did determine strong wind gu circulation at the lower levels. Were seeing the wide spread thunderstorms around this area which isnt uncommon when a system is trying to get going. This is a fairly large Geographic Area and thats what the Hurricane Hunter saw today. There you see it relative to the state of florida, basically east, the center east and north of puerto rico at this point. You do see the thunderstorms around the red color.
