Signs of reopening in Shanklin under the government s roadmap out of Covid lockdown Google location data appears to show that Islanders are heading back to our high street shops after the Covid-19 lockdown. Although the data, using information from phones and other personal devices to track trends in our movement, shows our habits have not yet returned to normal, non-essential retail and recreation venues were much busier on Saturday, April 17 than on the previous Saturday. Along with others around the country, non-essential shops reopened on April 12, along with pubs and cafes with outdoor space.
