GUWAHATI: Srimanta Shankaradeva Kalashetra which was built in 1998 is in a dilapidated condition. Broken pavements, ruined condition of the traditional huts and others speak about its near future. But in spite of all this the present government does not pay any attention for the development of its infrastructure. Most of the property is in ruined condition.
The solar system which was planned to lighten up the entire campus is of no use. It remains as a piece of evidence. The water of the artificial pond which was built for the entertainment of the visitors has dried up and the fishes died because of the negligence of the Kalashetra authority.
