Niagara Falls man arrested on felony weapon charge in Chautauqua County
Shane Jordon was arrested for a felony - criminal possession of a firearm - when he was pulled over on Route 60 in Cassadaga.

JAMESTOWN, N.Y. On Friday, State Police arrested a Niagara Falls man who had a gun in plain view when he was pulled over, but did not have a permit.
Shane Jordon was pulled over for a traffic violation on Route 60 in Cassadaga, but Troopers noticed a handgun in plain view. According to State Police, the 47-year-old doesn t have a pistol permit.
CASSADAGA A Niagara Falls man is facing charges after being found in possession of a handgun.
State Police in Jamestown charged Shane Jordon, 47, with criminal possession of a firearm. Troopers pulled over Jordon on Route 60 for a traffic violation on Friday and while speaking to Jordon, the troopers observed a handgun in Jordon’s vehicle plain view.
Further investigation revealed that Jordon didn’t have a New York State Pistol permit. Jordon was placed under arrest, transported to SP Jamestown and processed.
Jordon was issued an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in the town of Stockton Court on a later date.
