$5,000 Worth Of Equipment Stolen From Creek Co. Volunteer Fire Department
The Creek County Sheriff’s Department is investigating after nearly $5,000 worth of equipment was stolen from the Shamrock Volunteer Fire Department.
Shamrock firefighters said their station has been broken into twice in the past two weeks and the equipment that was stolen is impacting their ability to fight fires.
“When the pager goes off, we drop everything we’re doing and we don’t know when we’re gonna come home,” said Shamrock Fire Captain Chris Dodd.
Dodd is an 11-year veteran with the department. He said in the past two weeks, $5,000 worth of equipment was stolen.
