Ba has shot to the top of the Digicel Premier League points table after defeating Nadi 4-1 Churchill Park in Lautoka on Sunday. Striker Shameel Rao scored a double for the ‘Men In Black’ in the fixture.
Ba leads the DPL on goal differential from Suva and Lautoka with all on four pints each. Fiji Football Association competitions manager Amitesh Pal said the DPL would continue this week.
He said there would be tight competition among the teams since the automatic promotion-relegation format had been adopted.
