Hamble Lane MOTORISTS are being warned of potential delays as essential works take place on a Hampshire road. Hampshire Highways will be carrying out repairs to highway drains along Hamble Lane in Bursledon for seven days from July 13. Three-way temporary lights will be put in to allow the work to take place safely. The lights will be based at the junction of Hamble Lane and Portsmouth Road until the work is complete. As a result though, the Highways authority is warning motorists that there may be delays in the area at peak times, with the work due to finish on July 20.
