According to Deadline, Dwayne Johnson has signed on as executive producer under his production banner, Seven Bucks, alongside Beau Flynn's Flynn Pictures. Deadline also has learned that actress Gloria Reuben has landed new roles in two upcoming projects. In The First Lady, Showtime's limited series about women in the White House, Reuben will portray former President Barack Obama's senior advisor, Valerie June Jarrett. The series also stars Gillian Anderson as Eleanor Roosevelt, Michelle Pfeiffer as Betty Ford, and Viola Davis portraying the first Black First lady, Michelle Obama. This is a show that s sure to be a hit with all these divas! BET has created a new reality show with former members from platinum-selling girl groups 3LW, Danity Kane, 702, Total, Blaque and Cherish. The ladies will reunite to form a new R&B supergroup! ‘BET Presents: The Encore,’ which will be a 10-episode show premieres on June 9. The show will cast eight former members from the previously mentioned R&B groups who obtained success in the ’90s and ’00s. The cast will include Pamela Long from Total; Irish Grinstead and LeMisha Grinstead of 702; Shamari DeVoe from Blaque; Aubrey O’Day of Danity Kane; Kiely Williams of 3LW; Felisha King and Fallon King of Cherish;topping it off with Nivea.
