TROY, N.Y. â Rensselaer County District Attorney Mary Pat Donnelly announced recently that Shamaiah Davis, 40, of Albany, was sentenced before the Hon. Debra J. Young on felony second-degree assault with intent to injure a victim 65 or older and the defendant is at least 10 years younger.
Davis had pled guilty on March 23, to the charges.Â
On May 12, 2020, Davis entered Jimmyâs Luncheonette, at 84 Congress St., Troy, and assaulted and robbed an employee during an altercation at the restaurant. The employee sustained several injuries as a result of the defendant striking her in the head and body in order to steal property.
