Time, attach some border, maybe not quite as much as hr2, but something that can be attached to it. Are friends on the left, they also recognize that there are challenges with Border Security and people are talking about it. I think theres a chance we could still keep those together and have a winning message. But more to come this weekend. Thank you. [crosstalk] how do you think the meeting went . Do you think there was any progress made at all . Rep. Garcia i dont know about progress. In terms of refocusing on how we defined a victory, i think that was a good meeting. The objective is to cut spending. The objective is to start tackling the inflation and debt problem. The objective is to help mitigate this border crisis. Clearly today was a setback with the cr, not passing was probably going to be the most conservative position we could have come to the table with, Senate Conference negotiations during acr. We are looking at, what is the shortterm cost of not getting that cr . Clearly
That day i was frantically calling capitol hill and all of our representatives are safe and i couldnt get through and the panic that i felt unable to reach anybody to know they are safe while the mob was crashing down the doors. It separated them from what was going on outside and that terror was right home more as the state oyer said he invited me to go to the inauguration. I saw the capital have been defiled. And it was made real for me there was a line and the sentiment is what it is supposed to be, alignment said, a mob is a place where people go to escape their conscience. They knew better. They turned their backs on what they knew was right and joined the mom so once again mob, so once again my question is, what are we prepared to do . We should will be could do in the last election but now we have to take it to the next level. We have to make sure that we are the firewall that protects our democracy and marilyn does it better than anybody. I have been the chair for a long time.
