It is not as if anybody has the option of scrutinizing the process after all. Legislating is as opaque a business as any other matter of government.
And yet, some ostensibly important areas of policy are initially subjected to cursory parliamentary scrutiny before being enacted into law. In late April, the Mejlis, the lower house of the now-bicameral parliament, even created its own website, although it has already contrived to be disastrously out-of-date.

New Objectives – New Appointments 1283
The President of Turkmenistan has signed a number of Decrees sanctioning the following appointments and dismissals:
Baimyrat Ilmyradovich Annamammedov has been appointed Minister of Industry and Construction Operations of Turkmenistan; relieved of the position of Deputy Minister of Industry and Construction Operations;
Myratgeldi Resulovich Meredov has been relieved of the post of Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan for serious shortcomings in the performance of his official duties;
Shakhym Abdrakhmanov has been appointed Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan; relieved of the position of Rector of International Oil and Gas University;
