Force commanders of UNMISS and MINUSCA calls on Army chief

Force Commander of UN Multidimensional Integrated Stabilization Mission in the Central African Republic (MINUSCA) Lieutenant General Sidki Daniel Traore and Force Commander of United Nations Mission in South Sudan (UNMISS) Lieutenant General Shailesh Sadashiv Tinaikar have called on Army Chief General Aziz Ahmed at the Army Headquarters in Dhaka Cantonment on Tuesday.
In addition to the exchange of greetings, the Force Commanders discussed the challenges posed by the ongoing peacekeeping operations and the various issues that need to be addressed.
During the discussion, General Aziz Ahmed laid special emphasis on the special involvement of women in peacekeeping operations, increase of air support in mission areas and the conduct of peacekeeping operations in the event of global epidemic Covid-19.
