The investigation in the teachers’ recruitment scam has revealed that prime accused Sambhaji Shrisat had hatched acriminal conspiracy with the secretary of
Subodh Vidyalay in Chinchwad and forged the sanction orders of a clerk and peon. The duo also allegedly put pressure on the principal to sign the salary bill of the two with an aim to cheat the government.
The Economic Offences Wing (EOW) on Friday submitted the investigation report in the sessions court, seeking seven-day police custody of Shrisat, who was released on bail on January 16 after being arrested on the same day in connection to the cheating and forgery case registered with Samarth police station (PS).
