Saw Yu Shen, Yayasan PETRONAS’ Head of Operations (Education), handing over 353 devices on behalf of Yayasan PETRONAS to Siti Nurmala Md Nawi, the computer technician for the Petaling Perdana District Education Office, at Pusat Kegiatan Guru Puchong, to be distributed to students in the district. YAYASAN PETRONAS is distributing devices with data connectivity to 12,000 students nationwide which will enable them to have better access to online learning as the education landscape in Malaysia shifts to one of hybrid teaching and learning. The RM30 million worth of digital devices are being supplied to 81 schools in 69 districts, from May 17 until mid-June as part of Yayasan Petronas’ commitment to Cerdik.

Kota Kinabalu: The Good Shepherd Services (GSS) is launching a coffee table book entitled “Not My Mother’s Path” in conjunction with International Women’s Day (IWD) on Monday. It represents the collective strength of Tambunan’s daughters, mainly farmers, wives and mothers in voicing social concerns such as abuse and domestic violence and striving for economic empowerment. GSS Executive Director Chin Poh Choo said 200 copies of the 44-page book published by GSS have been printed initially.
