Krishnarao Ganpatrao Sable is popularly known as Shahir Sable. His second wife Radhabai Krishnarao Sable was present at one of the screenings of the film recently.
Sharad Pawar complimented Ankush Chaudhari's performance saying, "The last song started and I completely forgot about Ankush, all I could see was Shaheer Sable."
