Mild cold wave likely from today Staff Correspondent 13th January, 2021 10:41:54 A mild cold wave is likely to sweep across the northern and northwestern regions of the country from Wednesday. “The overall temperature started to decline on Tuesday and it may continue for several days,” said Shahinul Islam, a meteorologist of Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD). Night temperature may fall by 1-2 degree Celsius over the northern part and it may remain nearly unchanged elsewhere in the country, the BMD forecast. It also forecast that day temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country. The meteorologist further said a mild cold wave may start to sweep across the country over the northern and northwestern regions from today.
