Shaheer Sialvi accused of inciting people to violence while denouncing arrest of Saad Rizvi

Shaheer Sialvi, a student leader and president of the State Youth Parliament, has been arrested for allegedly expressing solidarity with the head of banned Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan (TLP) and challenging the writ of the state.
Police Sub-Inspector Tayyab Zaheer told
The Express Tribune that a case has been registered at Westridge Police Station in Rawalpindi against Shaheer Haider Malik alias Shaheer Sialvi under the provisions of the Anti-Terrorism Act (ATA).
The police official said that Sialvi in a video which went viral on social media can be seen inciting people to violence against the state while denouncing TLP head Muhammad Saad Rizvi’s arrest.

LAHORE: Women, along with other gender minorities, took to the streets as a part of the Aurat March as they walked from the press club to the PIA Building on Egerton Road to mark the International Women’s Day 2021 on Monday.
The demonstrators gathered outside the Lahore Press Club at around 2pm and began their procession towards the PIA Building where they ended the walk and held a sit-in where they performed the anti-rape anthem. The anthem, A Rapist in Your Path, was originally written in Spanish by the Chilean theatre group, and was later translated into other languages, including Urdu, across the world.
