Lack of oxygen claims lives of 12 Covid patients in MP s Shahdol; official denies shortage
Lack of oxygen led to the deaths of 12 coronavirus patients at the Shahdol Medical College in Madhya Pradesh on Sunday night. The ADM, however, has denied that there is a shortage of liquid medical oxygen.

BHOPAL: A 19-year-old girl was abducted and gang-raped for two days by four persons including a schoolteacher and local BJP leader in Shahdol, said police on Sunday. She is in critical condition.
“After raping her, the accused, who were identified as BJP Jaitpur mandal president Vijay Tripathi, teacher Rajesh Shukla, Munna Singh and Monu Maharaj, threw the girl off a car near her house on Saturday night,” said Shahdol SP Awadesh Goswami.
The girl was taken to a hospital in Jaitpur, from where she was referred to Shahdol district hospital, about 60km away, on Sunday afternoon where her condition is stated to be critical.
