Three police personnel lost their lives when a police bus came under a terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir's Zewan on Monday. As the nation grieves the demise of the bravehearts, India Today accessed exclusive images of the bus - showing the extent of the violence.
"The bus carrying 25 policemen was returning to the camp, as per routine, when three terrorists of Jaish-e-Mohammad opened fire on the vehicle," he said.
Little-known militant group Kashmir Tigers, believed to be an off-shoot of Pakistan-based Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM), claimed responsibility of the attack on the police bus at Zewan on the outskirts of Srinagar city on Monday.
The vehicle was carrying mourners who were returning after attending the last rites of Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) of J-K Police Ghulam Hassan who along with two junior colleagues was killed in a terrorist attack on the outskirts of Srinagar on Monday evening.
