Meet the co-principals of Bake Me Happy Ja and the Summer Baking Camp. (Photos: Contributed)
Baking is a skill that requires centuries-old techniques or just raw talent to create something worthwhile, or edible.
It was inspiring to see people around the world, during quarantine, finding comfort in baking as a hobby, and labelling it as therapeutic, or even relaxing.
Bake Me Happy Ja’s Summer Baking Camp, created by cousins and business partners Jhané Allen and Shadae Whyte, is a two-week baking and cooking response to children and young adults on summer break.
