People who helped build this very city. Many of these guys living on disability, living in sros, are homeless, every single one of us out here knows dozens of people that had to leave this city after an entire lifetime here. Thank you so much for the work you are doing. Thank you. And thank you guys. Thank you very much. Hi, i am ted anderson, the ass stands for aids survivor syndrome, the fear, stigma we experienced. In my case 33 years. I think two things that there have been very articulate people today, im not going to repeat what they said. We still have a contribution to make, longterm survivors. We have a lot of experience, a lot of knowledge, a lot of talent thats not being utilized because we feel like we dont have a purpose any more. I think its important we be given a leg up. We went through what was considered a war by most people and it was a war zone. San francisco in those days, we all know what it was like. Member of the Steering Committee getting to zero effort and i was here recently talking to everyone about this. I want to thank supervisor wiener and the committee for taking on this issue. We spent a lot of time in getting to zero preventing new infections but also zero death rate. Housing is one of the key factors in allowing people to stabilize and maintain their health. Dumping a large number of people out of their housing is not going to keep you alive, i can guarantee you that. The efforts of the board of supervisors to try to address this is central to getting to zero deaths from hiv. We totally support funding to maintain folks in their homes and honestly i think we should be looking beyond just people on longterm disability who are being, are facing losing their homes and looking at the whole population of People Living with hiv that are faced with potential homelessness. We cannot maintain the health of people with hiv unless we can keep them housed. Thats absolutely central

If a measure of a persons life is in the amount of impact it made taking a look at that stadium right now, you can tell those six people made quite an impact in their short time here on earth. Noelle walker reporting from isle of vista, ktvu. Today we hear from the families of the victims. Including the family of veronica wise. They say they raced to los angeles as soon as they heard about the rampage. When veronica didnt call them, veronicas family went online and traced her phone to one of the crim
Massacre. Students and faculty at Uc Santa Barbara join friends and family of the six slained students in an outdoor memorial service. The crowd applauded viktor martinez, the father of one of the victims when he sent a message to change gun control. To many people have died and there should not be one more. The start of the ceremonies had to be delayed because so many people showed up to attend. They were there to remember david wong, george chen, james honk, Veronica White and skate rin cooper and chris martin mess. The three young men first to be called were remembered with fondness and sadness. We learn how their former schools are making sure they wont be forgotten.
