The SFMTA says that dangerous incidents with self-driving robotaxis have increased exponentially in recent months, while Cruise, Waymo, and their associated venture capitalist types excoriate SF for not adequately loving the buggy self-driving cars.
A fire broke out at a home in the Bret Harte neighborhood, south of the Bayview District early Wednesday, and it has caused damage to at least two homes and left one firefighter injured.

The biggest storm of the rainy season so far is forecast to wallop the San Francisco Bay Area Tuesday through Thursday, delivering a heavy dose of soaking rain and high winds that could wreak havoc throughout the region, flooding roadways, triggering debris flows in wildfire burn scars and knocking out power.
