Major detours in traffic will occur on Route 28 in Mashpee through the month of April during a sewer main installation that is part of the townwide sewer project.
The Mashpee Sewer Commission spoke about the placement of sewer laterals at homes last Thursday, February 9, along with ways the commission might better share information about the townwide sewer
8:16 a.m.: Completed a civil standby request for a man who was dropping off items to his girlfriend and shoveled snow off her steps at a Weald Street residence. The Portsmouth Housing Authority approved the request ahead of the civil standby.
8:40 a.m.: Summons issued to Islington Street and Albany Street driver.
10:36 a.m.: Written warning issued to Maplewood Avenue and Hanover Street driver.
11:41 a.m.: Verbal warning given after a Route 1 Bypass southbound driver blew through a stop sign.
12:13 p.m.: Woman on Woodbury Avenue issued a trespass notice after staff members reported she had been yelling at them and potentially intoxicated, as she was nodding off mid-sentence.
