KODAK â A Sevier County firefighter and paramedic suffered a massive brain stem bleed while on duty with the Sevier County Ambulance Service on Tuesday, Dec. 15.
A GoFundMe account has been started for Daniel Harmon, who began feeling ill after returning from a call. It can be found at https://www.gofundme.com/f/local-ff-paramedic.
âHe just closed a call and was on his way back to the station and started experiencing a massive headache and started getting light headed and dizzy,â said Chris Heckman, a longtime friend who first worked with Harmon at Gatlinburg Fire Department.
Harmon lost consciousness at the Kodak station due to the brain bleed, and Heckman said his ambulance partner immediately went to work on treating him.
