Southbound lanes of Ambassador Caffery at Settlers Trace reopen after vehicle hits hydrant

The southbound intersection of Ambassador Caffery at Settlers Trace has reopened on Friday morning.
Lafayette Police said the intersection was shut down following an early morning crash that resulted in a vehicle striking a fire hydrant in the area.
Crews cleared the scene and shut off water to the hydrant before reopening the roadway.
Police say that there were no injuries as a result of the crash.
