Police say a man was firing shots in the area, and two housing officers tracked him down in a car. He reportedly pointed a gun at them and drove off. They called for backup and eight other officers chased after him. He went down a wrong way street and crashed head headon into a police cruiser. Shots were fired. Officers struck him multiple times.
