More than 200 avalanche fences are being planned for four slide paths above the Daybreak lift on the Canyons Village side of Park City Mountain Resort. The fences would protect an access road for The Colony gated community, though opponents say they are unnecessary, threaten wildlife and would spoil a pristine ridgeline.
