The highway was closed between the Lynn Valley exit and the Westview exit. However RCMP tweeted early Wednesday that the incident had been cleared and the highway had reopened.

RCMP spokesman Sgt. Peter DeVries said officers responded to a collision between two vehicles on the highway. There was a fight between the two drivers, and DeVries said one person, who he described as being an aggressor and in medical distress, was arrested.
