EML Payments reported its first good news to investors in almost three years on Wednesday, when it announced that the UK Financial Conduct Authority had removed a ban on its subsidiary Prepaid Financial Services Ltd doing new business.
Embattled Australian payment group EML Payments has agreed to pay £15m (€17.5m) to the sellers of Prepaid Financial Services Group (PFS) to settle all outstanding liabilities associated with the soured 2020 deal to buy the business.
EML Payments has extended the contract of interim chief executive Kevin Murphy until the end of June as it works through the restructuring of the group.
